Is Sport Better Than Music?

Is Sport Better Than Music
I am For This Argument
In sport you will get more active because you run around alot

  • When you are playing sport you could get the chances to represent either you club or maybe your country
  • You can meet new people and make new friends
  • Sports can help you with fitness and mental health
  • Imagine Running down the field with the ball in your arms with the wind pushing you to go faster

Personally I think that playing sports is way better than listening to music because whilst you are playing sport you get tons of chances. Like for example you get the chance to represent your Club/Country if you are good enough. In league you could make the Canterbury representative team. When you get older you could even play for the south island Scorpion team (but only if you are playing league in the south island. But at the best you could play for a national team that plays in the NRL.

You can’t represent you country in much with music, also with sport you can and you can make new friends. Because a new season most likely means that you will meet new people because new people will join teams and you might even get a new coach. They could even be friends and in music of course you meet new people but only for a short period of time and then you  either go off somewhere else or stay and then the other person goes

When you are playing sport you get fit throughout the year and then because you can be running around and having fun. Whether it is from doing training or the actual game your still doing something active.
I think that playing sports is 99% better than listening to music I think that because, To me running around and playing with my mates and having fun is way better. The sport I play is league and every last game we have a BBQ and then the coaches plan something like for example this year we went to Auckland.

In the end I think that choosing sport over music will be a good decision.
What do you think ?

Introduction To Emma - Summer Learning Journey

To Emma...

Hi I am Tamani I am a student at Hornby High School and I am looking forward to going to Jellie Park next week for a school trip. My favourite subject in school is PE and then maths  because I enjoy doing PE. I like maths because I think that doing maths is fun when we play games. My favourite sport to play is league and my favourite sport to play in PE is crash pad cricket.

I think that the summer learning journey sounds very interesting and I would like to do it if I wasn't so busy these holidays. The thing that interests me the most is the prizes and how many people will come top places and win them. I might create some blog posts when I get bored and might have nothing to do because I would like to get some points and maybe get some prizes.  My goal for this summer learning journey is to at least achieve 5 or more blog post these holidays.

What first got you interested in in the Summer Learning Journey?

Playing To Win

In Novel Study we have been reading a book called Playing To Win and it is a very interesting book.

In the last chapter the main character (Denny) had gotten into trouble with his own personally bully in my opinion when Denny caught him tampering with his car and trying break it. When Denny caught him and then chased him all threw the school and then the bully (Todd) tripped and the Denny caught him and they got into a fight and then the Rugby coach caught them and took them into the principles office where they got asked questions.

Later that day Denny asked if he could borrow the principles car to go pick up his little sisters and then come back and he said yes, Then Denny said that Todd had been trying to break his car. But Todd had said that he was just grabbing a ball that had rolled under the car. But I thought why did he run?

Anyway Denny ends up getting the call of his dreams Alice and he finally tells her he doesn't drink and then they end up going to a party and drinking Orange Juice.

Overall I think that the story is pretty good and I would highly recommend reading it because it is about a new guy that comes into a new town because his mom got a better job and makes the rugby team.
