Coraline - Resume

In class we had to make some resume's for 2 characters in the film and I chose to do Coraline and also Wybie because 1 Coraline is the main character in the film and it was really easy to do seeing she got ton of screen time and the second one I chose Wybie because he was one of Coralines only friends he talked alot during the limited screen time that he had. 

Health Topic ( Cocaine )

 The last 8 lessons me and my buddy Callum have been learning about cocaine. The reason we picked to learn about the drug "cocaine" is because it is a serious drug and that heaps of people suffer severely from the drug. I thought that by picking this subject that it would help make people more aware of the drug and show people where they can get help and to try persuade people to stop using drugs like cocaine.

I think that doing this task made me more aware a helped me learn more about cocaine and why it is a bad type of drug to use. I also learnt how some people can become very addicted to things like this and how they can get help.

Coraline The Film

 Coraline timeline. This timeline is a representation of what happened during the film Coraline it shows what had happened during the entire film. I also explained what everything happened like all the thing that happened during the movie like all the plot twist like for example what happened during the beginning middle and ending  

Rice Paper Spring Rolls

Rice paper spring rolls:
Rice paper, Rice noodles, lettuce, carrot, bean sprouts, basil

Skills learnt: How to fold the spring rolls.

Sensory evaluation: It was a average flavor and looked ok. The mixture of flavors were good and it was a ok meal. It didn't have a smell.

What I would do different next time: Add some chicken to the dish.
The team worked well and made the right meal it tasted alright but i think that it was missing something.

Colour And Lighting - Coraline Film Studies

 When we first see the real world it looks very dull and not very bright at all there is very little colour in the real world most of the colour in the real is Coraline and the clothing that she wears and she stands out in almost all the scenes that she is in.

Then when we first see the "other world" it is warm, bright and very welcoming to people even when entering through the little tunnel it was colourful with colours like purple and green and then when she exits the tunnel the lighting is more welcoming and bright 

When we experience the "other world" after the Coraline declines the offer for the button eyes and returns the area that once was bright and welcoming is now more vivid and has more artificial colours and the whole vibe that the other mother gives off turned kinda scary when she into a spider thing.

When we first see the "real world" after the resolution the whole area is much more welcoming and natural and all the people that were dull now show more attention to whats going on and though the garden the the real world isn't as good as the other world it still has much more colour than the start of the movie  

What Makes A Good Leader?

 In class we created a shared slide show so that all have our ideas collaborated into one so that it is easier to share and on this slide we needed to put down ideas on what we think a good leader would be like and then we had to make a "video" on those things.

Term 4 Goal Setting

This is my term 4 goal setting at  the start of the term we create these goal setting docs to see what we want to achieve and see what some achievements from last term were and at the end of the term we reflect on it.

The Marketing Mix "Promotion"

 Our advertisement for market day was a big poster that we made that pointed out the colours, price and the name of our game. We also made some miniature posters that we could print out and then put some around the school so that other people can see it. We think that we had a good game because it is a game its for any gender and age meaning pretty much anyone can play

In conclusion i think that our group done reasonably well considering we got a very bad spot to promote/ sell our game yet we still made profit which was very hard to believe.

Bst "Marketing Mix" (Place)

 In business studies we have been focusing around our market day and we have to describe where we are going to set our stand/ Product or game and we need to select  a area to sell our product. 

My groups product is a game and we might need to be near a water supply so that we can fill a bucket upto a half way line and we will also need some water to put in cups to insure they don't fly away.

A good location for our group would be a area like in the very front where the most people would see our game so that they can spend all their money on our game. 

People would see our game and they would be attracted to come and see our game because of all of the colours around our poster and the cheap prices and cool colours.

For our product/game we will have 0 competition because of how good our product is and that people are just gonna constantly come to our game because how fun it is.  

I think personally our group will do pretty good because how awesome and fun our game is gonna be.

Business And Enterprise

 In Business we are working on the business that we are trying to create a DLO to present on market day and here is my... I dont know presentation 

What we are creating is a game and the game is alot like a drinking game called beer pong but without the beer and all the drinking but our game will be fun because of the amount of cups you need to get in and then when they lose because they suck they would be so drawn in that they have another go at winning 

And the quality of our product would be 100% better than any other company/ Business and that the prize is something that most people cant resist ( the prize being lollies) and we will also have like exclusive items that you could straight up purchase or just win by getting the most 

I think that our game will do well and that people would wanna purchase our product/ game and when people win they are gonna wanna play multiple times.

Pricing:

We worked out our price by seeing how much money we used to purchase what we need for market day

 (it being $20) and we decided that the price needed to make it so that its not only easy to make profit but at a good stable price and then you can get the offer to also straight up purchase the reward if your not doing good in the game 

We will make sure that the product is good looking like for example when people see our game from afar they will come over because of how high quality our game looks but also it will be good when they come to play it also
