Acrostic Poem

Aloha,Today in class we had to get the blogger choice
activities and I chose to do an acrostic poem

Use your name to create an acrostic poem to tell people some interesting things about you. I picked this activity because it was the one that stuck out to me the most and I looked the easiest to do.

This is a photo of our class doing a competition to build the biggest tower but we could only use raw spaghetti and 2 pieces of paper some rubber bands and a glue stick the out come of this event was that we lost

 This photo is from our school photos day and we had finished our proper photo and we got the opportunity to take a silly photo

This is from 2019 when we went to a rugby league tournament for school and it was an all day tournament and we sadly lost 2 games and ended up coming out 3rd overall it was a good day

Money Task

In Class we have been working around money and we got told to make a T-Chart about benefits and Disadvantages about having money

"Evaporation"

Why Can A Dissolved Solute Not Be Filtrated?

Because when you mix things together like salt or sugar and it dissolves you wouldn't be able to filter it because the salt would have like merged with the water cause the particles are the same size.

What Is Evaporation? 

Evaporation is when you get some particles and they are different sizes and then for example if you add like pebbles to water or something then the pebbles get drained out of the water and becomes more clear

How can evaporation be used to separate a solute from a solvent in a solution?

When you have something out and leave it in some heat and then the liquid evaporates and all that is left is the solid so that could make crystals

A. They support young people and they get their own personal programmes which help them with skills they will use in life

B. They provide people with different websites and phone numbers that are for different occasion like if something bad were to happen to a loved one they have phone numbers and links to websites that can help people

Hilmorton Hospital
C. They provide dental services and health services to people that need it they even have separate buildings for different things like dental, health and therapy so that people can have their own privacy

3. Explain how these services would help improve your well being/mental and emotional well being.

They could help you with things if you are going threw a tough time at home they could even help you mentally and even prevent tough events

4. List 3 people that you/or someone at HHS could go to if they needed support.

You could see a therapist at your school, your teacher or even your school principle and at interval you could see a duty teacher

😎Term 1 Goal Setting😎

In class we have been working on our goal setting but originally I had done it on paper because I didn't  have a Chromebook at the time so then I had to put it onto a blog post.

I think that i done well considering that I had a day to make this post

Shoe Socks 😯

Sock shoes, 

Are you tired of taking your socks off to do something else,

1. We want to improve some shoes so that you don't have to

 buy separate socks but with socks also in the shoe 

2. The hooks are made of rubber so that they don't hurt your 

legs when wearing the socks

3. The changes would allow you to have socks installed

 inside the shoes and be comfortable as well DONE !!!

Rats/Mice

In Chaos we done things about Rats and Mice we had to answer things about like where its is and what they do 

Kiwi Ingenuity

In business studies we have been looking at different inventions that have been made all around new Zealand and personally I think that they are all pretty bad and could use some fixing

I think the most beneficial for new Zealanders is the boat van 1 because of how cool it looks and its good cause its not like a normal van cause it actually floats and people can ride on it and even have essential things with you like your kids and it would cost less then a boat ride to like wellington or something but it would be way slower and you



I think that the least beneficial would have to be the mountain buggy because it has 0 safety and your kid could easily fall out then it has nothing that stands out to help with going up hill.



2 things that could capture the imagination of people around the world  would have to be the hedge trimmer and also the boat van both being weird kiwi inventions

P.E hurumanu

In P.E we have been doing things around athletics and we had to practice and get times from what we have done so far and I really enjoyed doing my sprints and jumping

In hurumanu we where finding things out about 9/11 and we had to make a timeline about key things that happened during the attack
