Coraline - Resume

In class we had to make some resume's for 2 characters in the film and I chose to do Coraline and also Wybie because 1 Coraline is the main character in the film and it was really easy to do seeing she got ton of screen time and the second one I chose Wybie because he was one of Coralines only friends he talked alot during the limited screen time that he had. 

Colour And Lighting - Coraline Film Studies

 When we first see the real world it looks very dull and not very bright at all there is very little colour in the real world most of the colour in the real is Coraline and the clothing that she wears and she stands out in almost all the scenes that she is in.

Then when we first see the "other world" it is warm, bright and very welcoming to people even when entering through the little tunnel it was colourful with colours like purple and green and then when she exits the tunnel the lighting is more welcoming and bright 

When we experience the "other world" after the Coraline declines the offer for the button eyes and returns the area that once was bright and welcoming is now more vivid and has more artificial colours and the whole vibe that the other mother gives off turned kinda scary when she into a spider thing.

When we first see the "real world" after the resolution the whole area is much more welcoming and natural and all the people that were dull now show more attention to whats going on and though the garden the the real world isn't as good as the other world it still has much more colour than the start of the movie
